I recently started wearing wigs and bought a bottle of Snuggle Fabric Softener since Heather recommends using this for washing synthetic wigs in her YouTube video. I was getting ready to use the Snuggle to wash my hand tied Jon Renau Cameron wig, then I suddenly pulled back and decided to use a synthetic friendly shampoo instead. My concern is, will the fabric softener eventually lead to loosening the hand tied fibers in the cap?

Nope. That's because it doesn't contain any silicates or conditioners. Those are the sorts of things you want to keep off the knots of your hand-tied wigs. :)

I tried your fabric softener washing method and definitely noticed a difference with less frizzy ends and less tangling! Thank you! But I have another question: If I use the Jon Renau HD Detangler daily should I add shampoo to the fabric softener when I wash the wig to help remove the product build up or will the fabric softener work well alone?
