At CysterWigs.com, we only update the order once it is en route to your location. We do not inform you of the intermediary steps in the process.
A couple of good examples:
- If you are requesting this item be shipped to a PO Box in lieu of a residential address, this will result in a delay, because we have to ship the product to our warehouse and then ship the item to you. (We cannot drop-ship to PO Boxes.) In this case, we would only update the status of your order once the item has left our warehouse, en route to your PO Box. Though, as you can see in this example, we would have been working to fulfill your order for several days prior to that notification.
- If you order an imported wig (Belle Madame, Ellen Wille, etc.) or Specialty Item, then a similar delay for the exact same reason will also occur. (We cannot drop-ship these items.) In a similar fashion, you would only receive a fulfillment notification after the wig has left our warehouse, en route to your doorstep.
- Has a holiday recently passed? Please keep in mind that when a big holiday or sales event (like Black Friday or Mother's Day) comes around, this will result in a delay processing your order due to the sheer number of orders we have to process. We work around the clock to get these orders through the door, but our shippers (UPS, FedEx, USPS) only operate from around 8 am - 5 pm. We totally hustle to get them on those trucks! This delay will always be super minimal: a day or two, max.
