From a customer e-mail:
I watched the reviews for this wig and I have a couple of questions.
What color is closest to the Renee (sic) of Paris color Macadamia LR?
My favorite wig is the Amal by Renee (sic) of Paris and Brittaney looks similar but a little longer.
Can you give me your thoughts please?
These are such great questions!
First of all, you have awesome taste. I say that because I wear Amal almost every day, and I have one in three different colors (Crimson-LR, Mac-LR, and Ginger Brown). I also own a Brittaney in Creamed Coffee that I wear when I want something a little dressier. I think Amal is a bit more casual-looking compared to Brittaney. The waves on the front of Brittaney make her look very fancy to me. :)
As to the next point of business: there are no colors in the Envy line similar to the Macadamia-LR. I know this from firsthand experience because I love that Mac-LR color. None of the Envy colors have particularly long roots and they all appear more highlighted than the Mac-LR does.
That being said, something like Almond Breeze will get you pretty close to the gist of the base colors of Mac-LR. This is not a rooted color, though.
If the dark rooting is a deal-breaker, then your best bet is one of my favorites: Toasted Sesame. This is a rooted color and very pretty, though a smidgen darker and more gold than the Mac-LR. Mac-LR is a bit like a dark blonde; Toasted Sesame is more of a light brown. Not too far off, though.
I hope that helps!
