Today I received my personal Aria in Plumberry Jam-LR to sample for an upcoming wig review. I wanted to tell you my initial impression of the color: I LOVE IT!
I spent my Christmas holiday 2015 in England with some of my friends. These intense fashion reds are extremely popular in Europe! It's very refreshing to see a wig line that is marketed to Americans finally offering such a luscious color for everyday wear!
Furthermore, my boyfriend (a boy) and my business partner (also a boy) are also completely crazy for it. When I asked them why, they both said, in similar fashion, that it was such a striking color that it forced them to take notice. NICE! So, my take away from their feedback is that this wig and color combo would probably be FABULOUS for a first date or some other situation where turning heads is the order of the day!
The color starts at the root as what appears to be a #33, a dark natural auburn brown, similar to the Amore Burgundy color. The permatease is also this color. The remainder of the color (which starts about 1/3 of the way down the shaft) is a blend of this #33, bright magenta pink (which gives it a plummy violet look overall), true red, and a slightly more strawberry tinted sort of burgundy.
Summary: The marketplace NEEDED a nice blue-based red or two. That this one comes with a nice, long dark root just makes it even better for me. I think this color is every bit as rich, vibrant, and plummy raspberry as the name and pictures indicate. This is a gorgeous color that I hope they will expand upon so we can see it offered in other styles!
And here is a look at the lace front on Aria, just to cover all the bases here (at least until I can get a video review up):
