Short answer: Ever hear the saying, "A bad apple spoils the bunch?" That is the gist of what went on here, unfortunately.
Long answer: CysterWigs.com has changed their return and exchange policies as of January 1, 2019.
We know that purchasing “helper hair” over the Internet can be a challenge. This is why we used to offer unlimited exchanges on all eligible toppers and wigs. This lead to almost two years of insane levels of return abuse and fraud, which forced us to discontinue the process.
Return fraud -- specifically, "wardrobing" -- was a big time problem for us, and something that cost us hundreds of dollars every day. What's worse, the fraudsters were also the most likely to abuse our staff. We are sad that it turned out this way. In our opinion, this experiment wasn't worth the very real cost or the abuse we dealt with on our end, even if it was a nice perk for the clients. (Sigh.)
