We are a super-small operation, yet we have a HUGE store relative to the number of staff members we have on hand. Furthermore, we despise the practice of "return recycling", where retailers send their returns back to the supplier who then sells them to stores like ours without any notice. When we charge our clients premium prices for first quality goods, we expect to be sending them premium quality goods that haven't been worn before. We are not informed by suppliers when they do that. All we can do is guess. When we suspect that a small quantity in stock at a supplier is the result of returns they've received, we will generally try to avoid promoting those products as available for sale.
